If you have been around the site for any duration of time you know that not only do I write about gold tips by also tell you guys about great products that exist to help you guys out in making gold. That's how we came to support great sites in the past like GW2Spidy & GW2Wiz. Both of those are incredibly useful sites which can be used to maximize your gold making potential. In the spirit of sharing great sites that you guys I would like to share the first site I've seen which has a Guild Wars 2 Crafting Map.  This is a really important resource because you can plan out your farming routes to maximize your return on the time you're going to spend farming.

What is  Guild Wars 2 Crafting Map?

When you are farming in the game you can see the nodes on your map as you get near them: however, you can't open up your full map and view the locations which is a bit of a bummer. What Guild Wars 2 crafting map does is document the locations of all the nodes in the game. While I'm sure that many of them are currently missing on the map I would imagine they will be updated in the future. The way I understand that this is one of those community input type projects where there are many people working on it so the amount of data that is being entered will grow and grow as more people get involved.

I've been using this for a bit over a week now to locate certain items when I need them. In addition to that I have even developed a few highly profitable farming roots based on the data on the map as well. The best part about this interactive map is that you can couple this with the other sites I have given you guys as well to make profits. You could use GW2Spidy to track which items are selling for the most and then develop a farming route using this map to maximize the amount of gold you can make.

Not all gold making tips have to be as straightforward and in-your-face as "Buy This" or "Sell That."  There are reasons why websites like GW2Spidy and GW2Wiz exists. They are people who are just like you and I that are interested in making gold in the game and know that there is information that can be collected and analyzed to get an advantage over competition. When you got such a massive economy that is shared worldwide any advantage you can get is going to do wonders for your success rate in making gold.

So I would suggest that all of you before heading out to farm next time take a quick glance at the Guild Wars 2 crafting map and try plotting out a predefined route that you can follow and see if you find yourself getting a better return on your time spent farming. I know I've seen an increase personally, but I want to know about you guys!
